Visitors' book
A special preview of Summer Wars was given in Ueda Civic Center on July 20th, 2009.
Director Mamoru Hosoda and 2 voice actors, Ryunosuke Kamiki and Nanami Sakuraba, attended the preview as guests and gave speeches there.
On the same day, 3 guests prayed for a blockbuster success of Summer Wars at Sanada Shrine in the Ruins of Ueda Castle Park and director Mamoru Hosoda drew a picture on the visitors' book (refer to the picture below).
Since then, a great number of the fans of Summer Wars came to Ueda and hundreds of them wrote their impressions about Ueda as a home of Summer Wars on the visitors' book.
Now, Ueda is the sacred place for the fans of Summer Wars.

Impressed by Summer Wars, I came to Ueda
Summer Wars is terrific!
I'm going to see Summer Wars again.
I saw the movie yesterday.
The words of great-grandmother Sakae really moved me.
I climbed up to the ruins of Toishi-Komeyama castle this morning. The scenery reminded me of the view from the house of Jinnouchi family and I was moved again.
Why don't you come to Ueda? Thanks, Ueda!
